OBJECTIVES

• To produce a clear delivery plan to unlock new development, linked to site viability and driven by transport schemes funded through the recent Local Growth Fund settlement.
• To develop proposals to enhance the link between the railway station and key attractions, as well as improving public transport accessibility in the town centre whilst allowing part of the existing bus station to be brought forward for redevelopment.

OUTCOMES

• Fore are now preparing an outline business case for the transport and connectivity package which will assist with obtaining the funding to carry out the works.
